Several recent improvements to Ashland High School were made possible due to bond funding. Ashland High School is getting a new performing arts complex and its physical education complex is being renovated. Bellview Elementary is getting a complete rebuild to lower maintenance costs and become more environmentally friendly.

Ashland Woods Renovation

The Ashland Woods apartment complex is one of several Richmond-area multifamily housing units tagged for bond funding. The funding is part of an effort to improve the quality for low and moderate-income housing developments.

Glen Allen Branch Library

Municipal bonds in nearby Henrico County resulted in expansions to the nearby Glen Allen Branch Library, the Gayton Branch Library, and the brand new Varina Area Library. All three were paid for with a 2005 bond referendum.
