Past projects funded by Maine bonds

School Revolving Renovation Fund

The bond-funded SRRF provides interest-free loans to school districts across the state for improvements to facilities for health, safety, and educational improvements to ensure every school is properly equipped.

Road and Transportation Projects

The Garvee Bond Program permits bond funding to finance road and highway improvements across the state. MDOT pays the bonds back with federal funding, but this allows for MDOT to fend projects on an as-needed basis, fixing problems as they arise and preventing complications.

Providing Clean Water

Maine has bond finance programs in place to ensure there is always funding available for water infrastructure improvements. Investing in Maine gives them the funding to continue protecting precious watersheds and delivering clean water to all.
