    The Bonds are authorized under Chapter 44, Section 21A of the Massachusetts General Laws, as amended, and a vote of the Board of Selectmen taken on June 27, 2017 for the purpose of currently refunding on September 28, 2017 at a redemption price equal to 100% of the outstanding principal amount of the $4,165,000 General Obligation Municipal Purpose Loan of 2007 Bonds of the Town originally dated August 15, 2007 and maturing August 15, 2018 through 2023, inclusive, 2025 and 2027, in the aggregate principal amount of $4,165,000 (the "Refunded Bonds"), plus accrued interest, on the Refunded Bonds, and costs of issuance.

    The Bonds are valid general obligations of the Town of Raynham, Massachusetts and the principal of and interest on the Bonds are payable from taxes which may be levied upon all taxable property within the territorial limits of the Town subject to the limitations imposed by Chapter 59, Section 21C of the General Laws (Proposition 2.5) on $370,000* of the Bonds that the Town has not voted to exempt from that limit and without limit as to rate or amount, subject to the provisions of Chapter 44, Section 20 of the General Laws, on $3,420,000* of the Bonds that the Town has voted to exempt from that limit.
