When some of Somerville's fire trucks began getting close to the end of their lifecycle, the City bonded to purchase two new fire engines and one new ladder truck.

East Somerville Community School Rebuild

After a fire forced the closure of the East Somerville Community School, bond financing made it possible to rebuild this important neighborhood school with state-of-the-art facilities for students in grades K to 8.
